You will need to see a high idle speed (neutral full throttle test) of at least 3,300 to be able to reach 3,150 when doing the WOT test as governor 'droop' is about 60-70 rpm which translates to twice that at the crankshaft. Your engine is rated at 3000 so that goal is 3090-3150 as a brief test.

You want to see rated rpm plus 3-5% as a brief WOT test fully loaded to make sure you are propped correctly. Was reading 3100 on the analogs, obviously too high. I measured 300 deg F on the elbow between the mani cooler and turbo, and 200 deg F on the air line between the turbo and intake manifold.
